I offer this Burmese knife, also known as “Dha”. The handle is made of a complete deer horn which is unusual for this kind of knife. Handle and wooden scabbard are silver mounted. This mountings are decorated with ornate embossed ornaments and motifs. On the scabbard you can see a snake at one side and an elephant at the other. The blade is made of steel. Added to the scabbard are tassels for decoration or to use them as hanger. A nice example of Burmese craftmanship. Dimensions: complete 30,5cm; without scabbard 28,5cm; blade 15,5cm.
