Lovely vintage sterling silver shoe horn with an Art Deco repousse design. There is a monogram on one side. Marked sterling but no hallmark. This is slightly unusual as the horn also tested silver. Up For Your Consideration Is A King Eroica Double French Horn! This horn was one of the first horns made when George McCracken took over the King factory. The finish on this horn is very respectable and is limited to some minor dings, dents, surface scratches, and other signs of character. The bell is nice and straight along with the original lead pipe. There are some signs of previous solder work done near the braces. Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. All of the tuning slides move freely and the valves are fast and responsive. The previous owner took care of the horn very well. The horn sounds very nice and is one heck of a player! You will also receive a King case in which has seen better days.
