Small Asprey Horn Beaker with Silver Rim & Shield, London 1890, Charles Asprey & Charles Asprey Junior. Offered for sale is this glass bottomed small horn beaker with silver rim and shield decoration by the renowned maker, Asprey of London. Hallmarked for London 1890 with the makers mark for Charles Asprey & Charles Asprey Junior. Also marked, Asprey, 166 New Bond St. The silver is in good order but unfortunately there is damage to the horn body of the beaker. To the left of the shield there is a large area which has chipped off. Also, there is a crack near the back of the beaker, as shown. However, this remains a high quality item from a distinguished company and it still displays well, despite the damage. Top diameter 53 mm.
