NEW Ryton Silverplated intermediate trumpet with NICE case and 7C mouthpiece
This horn is NEW and plays GREAT!! This is an outstanding Bach Strad copy of the model 37 trumpet. It is a top-quality instrument made by the same Chinese factory that makes Bach horns. They make many pro lines for other companies that have clones of the Bach 37. This horn is a joint venture with Ryton Band Instruments from the USA. The logo on the horn says Ryton, RBI CORP. There is also a “Made in China” engraved under the mouthpiece receiver. It has a very nice silver plate finish on it. The Ryton group had many people help develop the horn from the US and those ideas helps make the horn play very well. The people from Ryton want younger players to have the same type of horn as the top pro players use but at a much lower price. Even though the horn is new I still do a few tweaks when I get them like hand polishing and checking the smooth operation of all slides and valves. I also put a new valve oil from Superslick which is a silicone base called VSI. It makes Monel valves lightening fast and lasts without applying it daily. The horn overall is a real beauty and looks almost exactly like a Strad 37 model. Plus the horn plays with a great tone and projection. I have played this horn several times and it has a wonderful full sound, and a nice bright and full tone (Melanie said I sound great on this horn, lol, as always). The 37 model horns have long been the standard for pro players. It plays well in all registers with a nice even sound and great intonation. Mechanically it’s in excellent condition – all the tuning slides work smoothly, including the first and third which are usually slow and require some kind of repair. I have Superslick slide lube on it to start. The monel valves work freely and spring back into place with ease and are fast. I added new bumpers on the first and third slides to quiet the throws. Now the horn is ready for action! The horn comes with a new 7C mouthpiece and a bottle of Superslick VSI oil. The case included is the same as a Strad case with the shell in plywood and the horn protected very well. It is a nice plush brown inside with storage space next to the horn. It has the same dust cover for the horn as in a Bach case. Don’t miss out on this great deal on a top-quality trumpet that is quite a bit less than a Bach Strad 37. It is a horn for advanced players, comeback players, Learning players, or Strad fans. Don’t miss your chance to get a clone horn that looks and plays GREAT!
