F/eb alto horn mellophone style by Cavalier. In F, has a slide to convert to Eb. Valves move at roughly medium speed. Valve piston plating is badly worn. EZ Tone mouthpiece appears to be original, and in any case, does fit the horn properly. Plays easily with a strong tone from G below the staff to the G two octaves above assuming one is reading either F or Eb music. USED VINTAGE CAVALIER FRENCH HORN – s/n 09173 with MOUTHPIECE & HARDSIDE CASE. This is a used vintage CAVALIER FRENCH HORN. It has it’s mouthpiece which is unmarked. The valves and tuning slides all operate. It has no dents. It is an estate find and likely needs a good cleaning. The hardside case is in good condition for it’s age. It does not have a key.
