Vintage Original 1957 Chevy Belair Steering Wheel With Horn Button & Ring. The paint is pretty good on this, but it does have some loss of paint as seen in the photos. The wheel also has some cracks at or near the center (see last 3 photos). The chrome on the horn ring and button is fairly nice but does have some light pitting. This is a nice silver color that goes well with lots of interior colors. Please see all photos. More pictures available upon request. This is a Casio DH-100 Vintage Midi Digital Horn. From a local estate. Cosmetics-Clean overall with some general wear and scratches in places. Battery compartment is clean. Operationally tested and working great. Clear audio and no sign of the capacitor issue. The volume has some static when adjusted. Great for your collection. See lots of photos of what you are getting. Includes the horn, new batteries, mouthpiece, neck strap, manual, and original box seen above. The mouthpiece has some wear. The manual has some dripped stains on the front but is clean otherwise. The box has heavier wear and the top lid flap is taped on. It only has the bottom section of internal foam. A Kaemph & Son New York Cornet Bb/A 1906-09- Rebuilt – with original Case & Mouthpiece Bore. Nice condition very rare vintage horn with gold caps, buttons, water-key and gold-washed bell. Bell required removal for dent work, repair is visible but it came out nice. Horn comes with a Bb and A lead-pipe, horn also has an extended slide for either LP or HP playing. Slides feel nice, valves are smooth and compression is very good. 1st and 3rd slide are missing original pulls. Original case and a York and Sons Weldon #1 mouthpiece are included which came with the horn. Lyre pictured does not screw into the mounting component, I’m not sure which is original. Bonus photo (slide produced in Seoul Korea) included has picture of a past owner perhaps? UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed. Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT). Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour). Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly. Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed. Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale. Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case. UpYourBrass Policies (please read).
