A Kaemph & Son New York Cornet Bb/A 1906-09- Rebuilt – with original Case & Mouthpiece Bore. Nice condition very rare vintage horn with gold caps, buttons, water-key and gold-washed bell. Bell required removal for dent work, repair is visible but it came out nice. Horn comes with a Bb and A lead-pipe, horn also has an extended slide for either LP or HP playing. Slides feel nice, valves are smooth and compression is very good. 1st and 3rd slide are missing original pulls. Original case and a York and Sons Weldon #1 mouthpiece are included which came with the horn. Lyre pictured does not screw into the mounting component, I’m not sure which is original. Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly. Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed. Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale. Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Excellent Condition Mount Vernon NY Bach Stradivarius Trumpet with thumb trigger. ML Bore silver plated horn from 1962 -1963. These are legendary horns. Highly polished silver – see photos. Everything functions as it should. Valves and slides smooth. Valves show little wear. Completely overhauled and sanitized. See pictures – if you need more, let me know. Newer silver plating from a few years ago. Played only very little since then. Mostly it has sat in my “Museum” ever since. Serial numbers on valves match the horn. Feel free to ask any questions.
