Vintage Holton H179 Farkas Model Double Horn with Case. Holton H179 Professional Double French Horn. This is a fantastic playing horn! While the lacquer finish does show signs of wear, it in no way affect its playability or sound. This particular horn has a serial number in the 567XXX range, which puts its date of manufacture around 1980. The instrument has been through the shop, cleaned and had any dents removed. There is a small area on the bell where you can see previous dent work and the lacquer finish is about an 8 out of 10. All of the valves and slides move freely.
