This is for an absolutely wonderful Antique Cork Screw that is from the late 1800’s. The piece is crafted from a large Boar’s tusk with a Sterling Silver mount and tip. The design on the sterling is an embossed Victorian Lady’s face with flowing hair on both ends. The item is stamped “STERLING” and 925/1000 PAIN (Spain, believe I just can’t read the S). The piece tusk part measures: 7 inches wide x 3 inches inches x 1.25 inches deep – and 7 inches wide x 6 inches long with the metal screw x 1.25 inches deep. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible. This listing is for an antique Silverplate Hunting and Shooting Trophy Cup with Horn Handles from 1911. This trophy cup stands about 13″ tall and has a top diameter of about 8″. The front is engraved and the back has an engraved picture of man kneeling next to dogs with his gun pointed up in the sky toward flying birds/ducks/geese. From what we are able to read, the front is engraved “All America Field Trial Club Champion Amateur All Age Cup/Carmichaels PA/Nov 15 1911/Won by Llewellyn Setter Mojo/Louis McGrew Handler”. There is more writing but we cannot make it out. This trophy cup weighs 3280 grams. This is a fresh find right out of an old barn! This old trophy cup shows lots of wear due to age, dust, debris, patina, some of the silverplating flaking off/chipped, scratches, nicks and dings. An interesting, well-made early 20th Century, Silver and Yellow Gold, Cornucopia shaped pendant on a modern Silver chain with an extender, making the chain 16 inches & 18 inches long. The antique pendant with Gold capped ends (unmarked both tested on acid indicating 9ct Gold and Silver). Hanging onto 1 x 1 Silver chains either side. The side of the pendant with superb hand engraving with two entwined “motifs”, XI, 1906, 22, IV, (engraving possibly Hockey related). Please see the various photos and my drawing.
