MALAYSIAN SILVER AND HORN SALAD SERVING FORK AND SPOON SET, each featuring matching engraved, chased, and pierced decoration including dragon and foliate motifs, having pistol-form horn handles with silver tips. Each with unidentified A. R maker’s mark above a Jawi script mark for Kalantan, Malaysia, of unknown silver fineness/metal content. Probably silverplate over copper. These are very fine examples of this style of serving utensils with the added rare silver handle embellishments. Utensils are sturdy with no loose pieces. 10 3/4″ and 11 1/8″ LOA. Pair of Scottish Horn Salt Cellars with silver cartouches by William Dunningham. The cartouches are marked WD & Co, for William Dunningham, an Aberdeen based silversmith. There are no other hallmarked but appear to be silver rather than plated. The salts are very attractive with no signs of splits or chips, the marks are slightly rubbed but still legible.
