AUS-10 has an excellent resistance to rusting. The elements that make up AUS-10 help the steel reach a high level of hardness, wear and corrosion resistance, toughness, and superior edge retention. The hardness of AUS-10 steel is mostly caused by the incredibly high carbon-content of approximately 1.05. As a result the knives can easily be sharpened leaving you with razor-sharp edge. AUS-10 knives don’t need to be sharpened frequently. Hardened to 58-60HRC – SHARP! 5 1/2 Cutting Edges. 1 1/2 Wide Blade. 5 1/4 Long Comfort Grip Handle. 3/16 Thick at the Spine. When done using the knife, wash it in soap and water, dry completely, coat in olive oil and store away from the sheath.
