Ram’s Horn Shofar Silver Plated with Hoshen and Velvet Case
Ram’s Horn Shofar Silver Plated with Hoshen and Velvet Case. The Shofar is a familiar symbol of the Jewish New Year. This Shofar is made in Israel by the Ribak Family, among the earliest residents of Tel Aviv. They brought their trade from Poland over 70 years ago, and continue to make the finest Shofars in Israel. This Rosh Hashanah Shofar is extra special because of the Silver Plated Hoshen – the Priestly breastplate with 12 symbollic stones representing the 12 tribes of Israel. Fashioned from a Ram’s Horn, the Shofar is polished and has no blemishes or imperfections. The shofar is available in a number of sizes: Small: 12″ to 14″ (30cm to 35cm) Medium: 14″ to 16″ (35cm to 40cm) Large: 16″ to 18″ (40cm to 45cm) X-Large: 18″ to 21″ (45 cm to 54cm). The shofar is supplied with a velvet case from the studio of Yair Emanuel. Leviticus 23:24:’Speak unto the children of Israel, saying: In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall be a solemn rest unto you, a memorial proclaimed with the blast of horns, a holy convocation.
