Antique Scottish Snuff Mull. Made Froms Rams Horn with Horn Lid. A Scottish horn snuff mull, made in the late 1700s or early 1800s. Very fashionable in the Regency era. The mull is made from a rams horn, with the fitted lid being made from the horn too. Tight seal, turn the lid for tightness, in superb condition, very nice feel to it. Wonderful Sterling Silver Antique Purse is the same on both sides and both sides are pictured. There are surface scratches and some of the mesh pieces have darkened a bit and some may prefer to polish the purse. One of the rounded clasp ends is dented as pictured and so is one of the dangling charms. Purse opens and shuts well with a snap and all mesh pieces are attached. Measures about 3.5 by 5 inches 9 by 17 cm. Chain handle has a drop of about 2.5 inches 5 cm. Weighs about 131 grams. See my Purses here.
