I used it for a back up horn for several years. Maybe a couple small or light dings. Slide has a little wear at the stockings but the slide is very, very smooth. I used the horn for playing lead trombone and it would stand out and sound beautiful soloing. Comes with the original Conn case, blue fabric inside.
