USED VINTAGE CAVALIER FRENCH HORN – s/n 09173 with MOUTHPIECE & HARDSIDE CASE. This is a used vintage CAVALIER FRENCH HORN. It has it’s mouthpiece which is unmarked. The valves and tuning slides all operate. It has no dents. It is an estate find and likely needs a good cleaning. The hardside case is in good condition for it’s age. It does not have a key. Here is a great playing intermediate baritone horn in very good condition! It has its fair share of dents, but nothing that affects its sound or performance. The silver plating is in beautiful condition. This horn has just been serviced, it has been cleaned inside and out and all of its valves and tuning slides have been cleaned and properly lubed. Valves are very quick and smooth. All tuning slides work, although the 2nd valve tuning slide is a bit tough to pull being as short as it is. Bell is wrinkle free. New water key cork just installed. 99% silver plating left on horn. Has had a small repair to the mouthpiece receiver brace. Baritone is 23″ long with an 8.5″ bell and a. Comes with a case in fair condition, both of its latches work and it protects the baritone very well but it is cosmetically challenged and has a small chip in the plastic.
