This stick features a light bovine horn top, furnished with a silver collar which is hallmarked:’London 1876′ Solid malacca cane shaft and an original bovine horn ferrule. Malacca is one species of rattan (Calamus Ascipionum) found on the coast of Sumatra. Rattan palms have long, slender stems, and were perfect for the making of walking sticks.
