This is a beautiful Jess Horn Lock Back Folder. This knife is about 3 3/4 inches long when closed and about 6 5/8 inches long when the blade is opened. The blade is made of ATS-34 stainless steel, a favorite of Jess. In the front tang it says: Jess Horn and on the back is the number 549. The bolsters are by Bruce Shaw, a stunning example of a great folder by Jess Horn and engraving by Shaw. The handlers are brown jigged bone, and there are no cracks at any of the pins on both sides. The knife has great walk and talk and the blade closes deep and well centered. The reflections on the blades and bolsters are from my camera, they are not on the knife. This knife comes pretty close though, never used, carried or sharpened.
