Exquisite Victorian horn brooch inlaid with possibly gold or gilt metal, silver and Mother of pearl. So very rare to find items like this in good condition with no missing inlay. Antique Victorian Pressed Horn Brooch With Decorative Inlay – Gold, Silver, MOP. Fabulous antique Victorian brooch made from what I believe to be pressed horn. It is decorated with mother of pearl, abalone, silver and a gilt metal (very likely gold) inlay but a little is missing although could be replaced but it is ok as it is! The foliage decor around the edge is a lovely addition. When held to the light is is see through and the ridge on the reverse has always been there, the original clasp has been screwed on over this! The clasp and pin are in good working order and there is as expected wear!
