Professional High trumpet Bb Piccolo Trumpet Brass Lacquer Surface Trumpet High Quality Monel Piston. The mouthpiece shank is the same as my Schilke P5-4 – that means it accepts a cornet size mouthpiece not your standard trumpet mouthpiece. These valves are fast and feel like a typical Bach Strad 37 Bell horn. Intonation is actually very good for this price range. The brand on the bell in the photo is: JM or Javier Mariscal. Is it a professional horn? Yes, but at the bottom of the professional totem pole. Schilke Piccolos would be at the top and this would be at the bottom. Don’t be confused: This is at the bottom of the PROFESSIONAL QUALITY PICCOLO TRUMPETS. It is not a beginner or intermediate level horn… Much better than that. This comes with a case and an “A” leadpipe, but it worked for me playing in Bb so possibly it was mislabled. If you are a normal trumpet player that plays a typical Bb trumpet, this is the same.
