Antique Victorian Wood Walking Stick Cane with Carved Horn Handle & Silver Ring. A quality Victorian walking stick with a hand craved horn handle depicting a long peaked bird or duck with glass eyes. An unmarked continental silver ring to join. The stick itself is I believe is made from a lacquered bamboo. This is for an absolutely wonderful Antique Cork Screw that is from the late 1800’s. The piece is crafted from a large Boar’s tusk with a Sterling Silver mount and tip. The design on the sterling is an embossed Victorian Lady’s face with flowing hair on both ends. The item is stamped “STERLING” and 925/1000 PAIN (Spain, believe I just can’t read the S). The piece tusk part measures: 7 inches wide x 3 inches inches x 1.25 inches deep – and 7 inches wide x 6 inches long with the metal screw x 1.25 inches deep. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible. Antique Victorian Pressed Horn Brooch With Decorative Inlay – Gold, Silver, MOP. Fabulous antique Victorian brooch made from what I believe to be pressed horn. It is decorated with mother of pearl, abalone, silver and a gilt metal (very likely gold) inlay but a little is missing although could be replaced but it is ok as it is! The foliage decor around the edge is a lovely addition. When held to the light is is see through and the ridge on the reverse has always been there, the original clasp has been screwed on over this! The clasp and pin are in good working order and there is as expected wear!
