Absolutely STUNNING and TOP QUALITY headstall that is beautifully made and superb in every way shape and form. Made by BROKEN HORN and marked as such on backs of buckles. You wont be disappointed with the outstanding beauty and exceptional quality of this one. Bit end measurement adjusts between approx. 35 and 42.5. Medium oil in color with tan stitching. Rolled earpieces and double rolled cheekpieces. Loaded with fantastic quality, hand-engraved STERLING SILVER OVERLAY: five ferrules per earpiece and ten on each cheekpiece, sterling tips on crownpiece, huge oval buckles with raised berry burst edges (buckles are 3 tall by 2.5 wide) and incredibly beautiful bit clips. The bit clips really stand out from the crown because not only are the base and sliding keeper engraved, but the entire bit loop is as well, which is a detail very rarely seen and it really makes this headstall sparkle! WEANLING SIZE and measurements are provided below. Brown leather with slightly contrasting stitching. Scalloped shaped cheeks and nose with silver to match the lovely shape. Beautiful on the horse! Adorned with absolutely stunning STERLING SILVER OVERLAY with BRONZE ROPE EDGES/FLORAL SCROLL DETAIL and BLUE STONES. Bar on nose is 8 long and cheeks bars are 5 long. This is top notch silver, stunning design, and beautifully hand-engraved. The backs of the buckles are marked Broken Horn and Silver Overlay which is a common stamp used on older/vintage sterling overlay. Halter is in LOVELY PREOWNED CONDITION. Obviously properly handled and cared for, so it has broken in beautifully.
