For God sakes, did anyone ever play this beauty? The finish on this horn is absolutely stunning. There is a small ding on the horn and a small dent on one of the slides that I can see. There are some minor surface scratches on this horn but nothing serious at all. Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition. F/eb alto horn mellophone style by Cavalier. In F, has a slide to convert to Eb. Valves move at roughly medium speed. Valve piston plating is badly worn. EZ Tone mouthpiece appears to be original, and in any case, does fit the horn properly. Plays easily with a strong tone from G below the staff to the G two octaves above assuming one is reading either F or Eb music.
