There are some scratches and small dents due to age, but there is no damage that would interfere with playing, and it can still be used in active use. No dents or dings on this instrument and lacquer shows almost no wear. The original valves on this horn are still very good. There are minor scratches on the bell-spout. The case almost looks new; not perfect but close. It is a good player, recommended! Wichita Band Instrument Company is a small musical instrument emporium located in the center of the USA.
